The HSE varsity softball team defeated Avon, 2-0. Grace Swedarsky was the winning pitcher with 9 strikeouts. The Royals had four hits in the game, all singles, produced by Addy Richmond, Kenzie Lee, Sophia Feher, and Chloe Smith. The Royals take on Lawrence North on Thursday with a 5:30pm start at home.
