HSE boys lacrosse stayed unbeaten with an 11-7 road win against the Fighting Irish of Cathedral. A solid road test for the Royals that found them down 6-5 at halftime, thanks to a big opening quarter for the Irish, scoring 5 goals in the opening frame. Once the sun set and the Royals settled in, Cathedral only managed two goals for the rest of the game. Thanks in large part to the play of goalie, Ohio Northern commit, Luke Williams. The defense held it down from the 2nd quarter on and allowed the offense to possess the ball more and get quality goals in the transition game as well. Junior attack Marcus Laux found the bak of the net 3 times in the win. Junior David Gould tallied up 4 goals for HSE. The Royals battled to a 6-1 second half advantage over the 3rd ranked Irish. The Royals are in action again Friday 4/18 At Noblesville. JV-6pm, Varsity-8pm.
