On Saturday, the Royals competed in the state's premier tennis tournament. 16 top teams are invited to this event and the 8 we faced in the top section of the tournament are some of the best in the state. In our flight was the #1, #5, #8 ranked teams in the state, putting our #2 ranking to the test. We came out on fire and won all our first-round matches. We kept that momentum going and made the championship match in 4 of the spots. Everyone recorded at least 2 victories, and the Royals easily cemented a second-place finish, just behind number one Carmel. It was a good day for the boys, and we will continue to improve. The Royals are next up at Westfield on Tuesday.
